Blog Category: No Category Blog Tags: No Tags I can't believe its almost February! Thats crazy! Weve almost been in the apartment 2 months now! how exciting! We're loving every minute of it. We have also decided that when our lease is up, we will be moving back to springfield! Im so very exciting about this! I miss my family so so so much! Ill be very glad to be able to see my parents again, and finally see my brothers daughter! Shes 5 months now, and I havent seen her. Other than that...things are good. lots of snow. Mikes working a ton and a half, and im trying to find a job to help out a little more. But I have the worst luck in the world! Anyways..just wanted to make a quick update while i could, better go try and wake him up again so we can figure out what the heck is going on! Take care girls! 0 Comments

Blog Category: No Category Blog Tags: No Tags Well Well Well.. We have been in the apartment a week or so now. It's all going really well. We have everything unpacked, and It actually feels,warm and homey now. It felt like home to begin with because we were together, but now that we have all of our things together, it just feels perfect. I love it.  We have both just been stressed about things, so we kinda argue a little more than we normally did. and Im not gonna lie, it gets to me. But when I just look at him and remember how much I love him and how I want all of this to be, it doesnt even matter anymore. Ive just been more stressed lately because all Ive wanted is to be able to spend quality time with him. Thats all. Just to spend time with my husband in our home. Relax. Watch TV. or play games or something. But he always finds something to do, and my plans for that get shut down.  But all in all we are doing really good and things are looking up for us, so Im excited! We actually got some snow today! woo hoo! Im pretty excited about that, just not so excited about the temps! haha. Anyways, I better get going. Get the laundry out of the dryer so we can go home! hope all is well!  0 Comments

Blog Category: No Category Blog Tags: No Tags I cant believe we move in starting tomorrow night.  Itfeels so unreal to me right now. We have wanted this for so long, and were finally doing it. Now its gonna feel like we are a real 'married couple' all out on our own. Itll be so nice to wake up in our own home. It will be so nice to hear mike come in the door and say "Honey, Im Home!", and he really will do it. It will be so nice to just have a place to call our home. Some people think im totally silly for being so emotional about this, but its a step in the direction of showing everybody that were going to make it. Its...just..I dont know how to put it into words. Im so lucky to have someone who works so hard for his family. He has done everything to get us this apartment. hes worked overtime, extra shifts, 40 hours every week. In a way I feel horrible because my jobs havent worked out, and therefore I have not contributed much to this. But he has that sense of " I am the man, I take care of everything" And not in the way that degrades me, but in the way of he wants to make sure im taken care of, the family is taken care of, and when we have children that they will have somewhere safe to call home. No matter how low we are on money, or how bad things get, we will always be okay. Its the start, of something new.  After tomorrow evening, I am not sure as to when I will get back online. We dont have internet on this computer.. its wireless through his grandpas. who knows, we might pick up some signal in the apartment complex, we'll just have to see how it goes. but, I hope you all stay in contact, I'll miss all you ladies so much! You all have been such a great support system, and amazing friends. Im so lucky to have found this site. I wish I would have found it sooner. Good luck to all you mommies that are due soon, I know you will be spectacular! I also want to extend a early  to Cheyann! I hope you have a great day sweetheart! Blog Category: No Category Blog Tags: No Tags So we move in on thursday night!! How crazy huh? I really can't believe it! We're so excited, yet wondering how well this will really work out, ya know? Just..so many things to pay. And mikes sister, of all people goes, "how do you plan on buying all of us Christmas gifts?" Uh, we dont. Your getting free coffee and thats that. We got jordan(her daughter-our neice) gifts, only because children enjoy christmas so much more than some adults I see. and we got some other kids some gifts, and some other family members that have also helped us out. It just seemed...i dont know selfish to me for her to be asking that. But whatever. I have other things on my mind.Mikes gramma is trying to help me get in at her nursing home so I can get my CNA done quicker than waiting to go to Ivy Tech. They start out paying $8.50 which, I think is pretty sweet. better than the $5.15 for minimum wage here! yuck!! We still have a little bit of packing to do, but not anything to major. Should have it done by thursday afternoon or so. (we pick the keys up thursday at 5pm!!!) Lets see..what else has happened? Oh! Yes! Duh! Mike and I went shopping the day after thanksgiving. haha. We only lasted 2 stores. We got on 20 inch tv for $50. We got our coffee pot for $3.87 got 2 board games for $2 got 3 christmas CD's-all .87 cents and then picked up Chicken Little for his sister for $10! We got everything we wanted and we didnt even get up til 430! haha. We were done shopping by 8. It was pretty nice. We came home and slept for 6 hours. hahaha. Blog Category: No Category Blog Tags: No Tags So from yesterdays post...they found him. He was in the basement of the hospital. Doesnt make sense to me, but atleast he is back in the hospital, and safe now. I have to keep reminding myself "only 9 more days of her. only 9 more days" Because seriously, I cant handle her anymore. HER=MIKES GRAMMA. All she does is nag.nag.nag. Like a few minutes ago, she was telling me to wake mike up, I said no he needed his sleep. (his blood sugar dropped, he came home, ate and wanted to rest for a while) she said that im not doing him any good letting him sleep and hes going to get up and eat. I told her I wasnt going to wake him up and piss him off. She said she doesnt think I will be able to take care of him. I said I can do just fine thank you and he knows how to handle some shit himself too. And then she goes into facts like she knows what the hell shes talking about. She doesnt have a clue about anything. And she doesnt care about the fact her damn dog ate my earring. MY 1/3 CARAT DIAMOND EARRING!  I will pack everyday for the next 9 days straight, all day and all night if it gets me away from her faster. Shes all excited to help us move in, i dont want her anywhere around our house because then she will never leave. She annoys me to no end, and my house will be quiet. so that means she cant be in there. anyways, im gonna go tell mike that im not allowed to let him sleep anymore because its not helping him. have a good day ladies. 0 Comments
